Pale straw color with a vibrant greenish tinge; on the nose, it is packed with lovely melon and tropical fruit notes, with undertones of fleshy grapefruit aromas.
This is a crisp and focused wine with refreshing acidity that envelops the tropical fruit flavors with a subtle floral note; enhancing the complex mouthfeel through to the finish.
At the 2017 Napa Valley Wine Auction we poured our 2015 Jazzie Sauvignon Blanc; along with about 25 other producers. After tasting through the group, St.Helena Star wine writer, Catherine Bugue, named us as the Wine of the Week.
Here is what Catherine had to say:
Bright yellow straw color. Creamy, citrusy, earthy aromas and flavors of dusty straw, white chocolate toffee, latte, and dried citrus with a silky, bright, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a silky, delightful, medium-long lemon curd on toast, papaya, and grass finish with fine, crunchy, fruit tannins and a suggestion of oak. A very nice citrusy sauvignon blanc with fun creamy overtones
